HOW DO I BOOK A MOBILE PHYSIOTHERAPY APPOINTMENT AT MY HOME?


Call, text or email us to tell us about your injury or condition. From our conversation, we'll find the right physiotherapist for your condition. Your physiotherapist will treat you in your home and provide you with a treatment plan tailored to your home environment and lifestyle.




WHAT CAN PHYSIOTHERAPY TREAT?


Physiotherapists are experts in assessing and treating various muscular, orthopedic, post-operative and neurological conditions including the following: 1.Pre and Pre and post surgery rehab at home 2. Shoulder, elbow and wrist injuries at home 3. Back pain and neck pain at home 4. Hip and knee injuries at home 5. Ankle and foot injuries at home 6. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and Arthritis at home 7. Knee pain, shoulder pain and joint pain at home 8. Tendon and ligament injuries at home, including tendonitis 9. Sports injuries at home 10. Motor Vehicle Accident injuries 11. WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED FOR MY APPOINTMENT?


No equipment needed! Your physiotherapist will bring everything to the appointment, including a physiotherapy table if required.




WHAT HAPPENS AT MY APPOINTMENT?


Your first visit consists primarily of an initial assessment which includes a history of your injury, physical tests, and a discussion of your diagnosis and treatment plan. In most cases, your physiotherapist can start treating you during the initital appointment.
Treatments may typically involve education around your condition, manual (or hands on) therapy, and an exercise prescription.




IS MY TREATMENT COVERED BY INSURANCE?


Physiotherapy treatment is covered by most third-party insurers. Ergonomic Home Office Assessments provided by a Registered Physiotherpist are also covered bu private insurance plans.




HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY HOME PHYSIOTHERAPY APPOINTMENT?


1. Decide on the ideal spot in your home for the appointment. The physiotherapist may bring a portable treatment table or some small exercise equipment for your session, so make sure there is enough space to accomodate this. 2. Wear appropriate clothing - leggings, shorts and a t-shirt or tank top are usually sufficient.
